Elsham Parish Council are having problems with regard to the misuse of the Elsham Nature Reserve (formerly) the quarry as a mountain bike track.
The Police have been informed and North Lincolnshire Council Safer Neighbourhoods Team who are monitoring the area.
The culprits are damaging the woodland and paths and there have been quite a few near misses of hitting walkers and dogs.
Signage has been ripped down on several occasions, advising that no cycles are permitted.
Not only are youths and adults riding into the site but parents/adults dropping the youths off and unloading their cycles.
Action will be taken if anyone is caught.
